DELIVERY COSTS

FREE worldwide delivery on all items over €500

For items under €500:
Flat rate for Ireland €5
Flat rate for rest of world €10.00

For orders of laptop covers and canvas prints: For the highest quality they are printed and shipped directly from my printers so they will be charged individually and do not qualify for free delivery. 

ORDERS AND DELIVERY TIMES
All original artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity.
For many of my paintings I do not add the final layers of protection until the painting is sold so please allow up to 5 days extra on top of delivery time for finishing and drying.
For paper prints and paintings already completed they will be posted in 1-2 working days.
Orders are shipped from Cavan, Ireland so please allow extra time for delays caused by Covid-19, the Christmas rush and for international deliveries.

For orders of laptop covers and canvas prints: As each order is custom printed just for you please allow 1-5 working days for production and 2 -7 working days for delivery in most of Europe and up to 14 days delivery time to the rest of the world.

PAYMENT OPTIONS
Payment can be made online through PayPal using your PayPal account but you can also pay through PayPal with most debit or credit cards if you do not have an account.  If you prefer to pay by bank transfer please contact me for bank details.
I offer payment plans on all artwork, please contact me to arrange a plan that suits you.
This website is installed with an SSL Certificate to ensure secure online shopping and peace of mind.
Cash on collection is accepted if you would like to collect your order from Cavan.  Please email info@michellehartonart.com or call or text 087-2210997. 
If you would like to pay by cheque, artwork will only be exchanged once the cheque has cleared. 

PACKAGING
To reduce the environmental impact of my business I try to reuse boxes and packaging when possible.  I am a self confessed and proud packaging hoarder!  If you’ve ever looked at a nice sturdy box and thought “that’s a good box, I’m going to keep it” then you know the feeling. I also purchase my bubble wrap as much as possible from Green Bubble who sell used bubble wrap from companies and in turn save it from landfill. Their unique service reduces Ireland’s demand for raw materials and improves our CO2 footprint whilst keeping materials in the circular economy.  So your outer packaging may not look like brand new, (but lets face it, most of that usually goes in the bin) but please know it’s clean, will keep your order safe and helps protect the environment.

CUSTOMS DUTIES
Orders that are shipped to countries outside the Europe Union may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment subject to such import taxes, customs duties, and fees (which are levied once a shipment reaches your country) must comply with them and I cannot be held liable whatsoever. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient. I have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary from country to country, so please contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, unfortunately it can cause delays beyond my original delivery estimates.

RETURNS
I want you to be fully happy with your new artwork so if a painting is not as you expect, you have 14 days to contact me by email and request a refund. Once a return has been agreed, you are responsible for packing the painting securely and for the cost of return delivery. Once the piece has been safely returned with its certificate of authenticity you will receive your refund minus postage costs if they have been paid.

All work is very carefully packaged to arrive with you safely. If you receive an artwork that has been damaged in transit, please contact me within 7 days with a photograph of the damage.
