The Irish Palette Exhibition Engine Room Belfast

The Engine Room Belfast

I will be showing a number of paintings with The Irish Palette at our group exhibition in The Engine Room Gallery, 59 North Street, Belfast from 6th to 29th March 2025.

I’ve been a member of the Irish Palette since it formed in 2021. This collective came together while each of us were taking part in an online international arts development programme called the Creative Visionary Programme. The Irish Palette initially established as a support group on Facebook, for the Irish students students doing CVP, to engage easily at a more local level. However as the collective grew in number, familiarity and ambition we started putting on art exhibitions across the island of Ireland. The Irish Palette at The Engine Room, Belfast is our latest show and will showcase the work of 19 working artists from across Ireland, providing an eclectic display of unique and exciting works.

Being part of this collective has been an incredible source of support, encouragement, and growth. Through this shared journey, beautiful friendships have formed, and exciting opportunities continue to emerge – made all the more accessible through the power of collaboration and collective support.

I would like to invite anyone who may be visiting Belfast in March to call in and see the exhibition and we would be delighted to welcome you personally at the opening on March 6th from 7pm-9pm where you will get a chance to meet all the artists exhibiting.  The opening night is part of Late Night Art Belfast’s gallery trail that happens on the first Thursday of every month.

As the Irish Palette has members from across the entire island of Ireland we are in such a good position to find out about other venues and art events that we might visit. It is our ambition to bring new art to new audiences wherever we can. Perhaps we will be exhibiting in your town in the future!.
