The Year Of The Black Rabbit

The Year Of The Black Rabbit

2023 is the Year of the Black Rabbit. Although the Year of the Rabbit comes around every 12 years, the year 2023 pairs the rabbit with the water element, symbolising the colour black in the Chinese zodiac and this unique combination only occurs once every 60 years. The last Year of the Black Rabbit happened in 1963.

People born in the year of the rabbit are thought to be idealists, sentimental, quick-witted and are said to show particular talent in art and entertainment. At their best, they are also quick to grasp the situation at hand and able to nimbly overcome their hardships.

Although Rabbit people easily get along well with many people, at their core they are considered to be reserved creatures, and gain a sense of fulfilment when engrossed in some sort of intellectual activity.

Rabbit people are said to place lots of emphasis on small details. They pay close attention to everything from colour, design and furniture to food and conversation. And only when they are certain that everything has been arranged as they please, can these people relax and have fun. As calm as they may be, it is not easy to provoke them.
