Mr Dandy Lion the bichon frisé is the painting people have asked me to make prints of the most. He seemed to have a life of his own when I painted him. He was originally inspired by all the beautifully groomed dogs I saw in Seoul during my first visit there and I followed many of them around the city! He was also inspired by the sad scenes of lonely little puppies in tiny spaces in windows in pet shops there.
While there are some good dog breeders in the world who are genuinely interested in protecting a breed and take great care of their dogs, unfortunately a large majority of these beautiful little dogs come from awful puppy farms and are bred solely for money. This painting is an amalgamation of my thoughts about these gorgeous little souls that unfortunately hide a very cruel industry behind them, which is often overlooked by the buyers because of how cute they are or unknown because of the tactics the sellers use to deceive them. With Ireland being the capital of puppy farming in Europe, my hope and Mr Dandy Lion’s hope, is that one day we might lead the way in totally banning these hellholes for good.

Cancellations & Modifications
Because each piece enters production quickly, cancellations or changes (size and frame selections) are only accepted within 7 hours of placing your order. Once an order has been sent to print, it cannot be altered or cancelled.
Please double-check your shipping details at checkout. Orders delayed or lost due to incorrect address information provided by the buyer cannot be refunded, though address corrections can be made if you contact me immediately before dispatch.
Returns & Damaged Items
• Made to Order: Each print is custom produced specifically for you to your chosen size and frame specifications, so I am unable to accept general returns or exchanges. Please refer to the size chart carefully before placing your order.
• Damage Guarantee: Your complete satisfaction is my highest priority! If in the unlikely event your artwork arrives damaged, please send a clear photo or video within 48 hours of delivery, and a brand-new replacement will be produced and shipped to you.
I use professionally colour-calibrated printers, so my prints are as accurate as possible. However, keep in mind that colours may appear slightly different due to screen settings.
