Art in your Pocket (6×4) Exhibition Enniskillen

Ardhowen Theatre Enniskillen

“Art In Your Pocket” in Strule Arts Centre, Omagh

I would like to invite you to come see 5 of my little paintings at the “Art in your Pocket (6×4) Exhibition” of small works opening at The Ardhowen Theatre, Enniskillen, Fermanagh, Northern Ireland on
Thursday 3rd February from 7-8:30pm
and it continues until 15th March 2022.

This collection of paintings that are all 6 x 4″ are part of a beautiful touring exhibition that was previously on show in The Strule Arts Centre in Omagh at the end of last year. It’s such an interesting show to see so many paintings by different artists with everyone’s work the same size.  There’s certainly something to suit everyone’s taste as the work is so varied in style and medium and I was really delighted to be selected for this show.

If you see a painting you would like please contact Diane or myself.  Each paintings is £100 sterling.  I think they would make a lovely Valentine’s Day gift.

These pieces continue on with my theme of painting magical mystical places I would like to go on holidays to.  They are set in my imaginary world that I call “The Land Of Gemini”. I hope they will be a place for you to escape to and meditate in and recharge your energy and spirit when needed.

They are all on paper but when faced with the challenge of how to present the work without it getting bigger than 6 x 4″, I came up with the idea of mounting the paintings on deep stretched canvas with my gold enamel painted sizes.  To go that little bit further I have added a trim of plaited hessian around each painting and I am really in love with the finished look.  I’m usually quite shy to say these things about my work but I feel like they are little jewels of paintings and I’m going to find it hard to part with them!

If you can make the launch night it would be lovely to see you there.  If you go after opening night be sure to take a photo and tag me in it, it would be lovely to see who visited.

You can see all the paintings here
